Notice: New Motorized Vehicle Policy
Effective immediately, the Haverhill School Committee has banned all electric bikes, electric scooters, and powered hoverboards from all school property. Additional details will follow shortly.
Photo Opt-Out Policy & Form
If you prefer that your student not be photographed or videotaped during school events, please complete the digital form. General details can be reviewed in the "Student Safety" section of our Parent Help Center, along with the official HPS Social Media Opt-Out Policy at https://www.haverhill-ps.org/technology-policies.

Staff Spotlight: Kim Silvrants
KIM SILVRANTS
Welcome!
I am so excited to start a new adventure here at Gateway! In the previous seven years, you may have seen me teaching at Consentino Middle School. I've taught both science and technology there, and before that, I spent years creating STEMscopes science curriculum and bringing NASA space science to life right from their museum floors. Science is full of wonder, and I love bringing that same spark into our classroom every day.
When I’m not in school, you’ll usually find me rock climbing, paddleboarding, reading, or on the hunt for delicious food!
In our class, science won't just be something we read about; it's something we'll do. This year, we’re going to headstart endangered turtles, dive into hands-on learning, and connect what we study to your everyday life in ways that might completely surprise you. Get ready for an amazing year of exploring together!
